Hi Keith,

This is awesome news! I've downloaded and given beta 7.3 beta 2 a go. The blur works pretty good, but to me the blur effect has a double vision (ringing artifact) kind of effect going on. I've attached a an image of how display fusion blurs at 20% and the same image with a gaussian blur, 50px, RLE, from The Gimp. As you can see the gaussian blur is much smoother. It seems that there is something off on the blur effect you guys are using.

I think the ability to blur the wallpaper is an excellent effect to have and I wanted to let you guys know about the ringing effect while its still in beta.

Also, I'd like to request the dimming, vignetting effect too like RussB posted in this http://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/feature-suggestion-ability-to-add-custom-blur-andor-vignette-to-wallpapers/?ID=02421442-87b5-4069-a4b3-6f80d4b58787

Keep up the good work!

Greetings All,

I really like the wallpaper feature of displayfusion, that is the main reason I purchased it. For wallpapers, there are several different color effects (Gray, Sepia, Inverted), but I'd like to request/suggest the option to blur the wallpaper. Perhaps a slider to adjust the amount of blur applied to the wallpaper. An effect like the Muzei Live Wallpaper app for Android https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.nurik.roman.muzei, which itself is a brilliant live wallpaper app for android. The ability to blur the wallpaper would be especially useful when the wallpaper is configured to switch randomly after a period of time. Sometimes a wallpaper that gets selected is too, shall we say, "busy" and makes it difficult to distinguish any icons on the desktop.

Thank you kindly,
Chris
