Now the screenshot is unprotected. Taskbars are deactivated as you can see in my first screenshot.
It seems your settings are the same as mine.
I’ve tried two displays, other relative screen positions and so on. All tests lead to the same result: The apps maximize to the size of full screen size (above 1920x1200px area size). The app’s upper left corner is at the right position (identically with the upper left corner of the area), but the size is always 3840x2160px. If the areas upper left corner is at {100;100}, the app maximizes to {100;100}x{3940;2260} (it projects beyond the edges of the screen). As an example I attached a new screenshot with maximized solitaire at {1915;500} (1925x1660px). It seems the window never gets the width and height of the destination area. I’ve recorded the window messages with spy++ and included the results into the screenshot.
Now I’ve deactivated all possible options (with the same test results) and attached my system details (DisplayFusion troubleshooting tab).
If the display is the primary display or the width is below or equal 1920 or the height is below or equal 1200, than all works correctly.

MS Office products need a width below 1900px. At 1920x2160, they still expand to full screen.

Maybe this is a hint for finding the root of the problem.

Thanks for investigating!

Hello,

I have tried to split my UHD 3840x2160 monitor into 2x 1920x2160. If i try to maximize MS Outlook, it extends to the full screen and not only to 1920x2160.

If i split into 1890x2160, all works fine, but at area widths above 1900, maximize Fails.

My settings are:
3 monitors:
- 1920x1080 on the left (splitted into 800x500 + 800x580, 800x1080 and 320x1080),
- 1920x1200 in Center (primary monitor, not splitted),
- 3840x2160 on the right (splitted with problems above area width of 1900)

The settings at the attached picture works fine because i added a 300px width area and so the both remaining are smaller than 1900px, but that is not a good solution for all purpose.

What can I do to get rid of this issue?

Thanks

Anton
