I hope this further clarifies the above conversation thread:

To change the default Export (now called Backup Settings Path Override):
1. Right Click the Display Fusion System Tray iCon.
2. Choose (i.e. Click) Settings.
3. Choose Advanced Settings (button at bottom of form)
4. In General section, double click Backup Settings Path Override
5. Enter the desired Backup Path (e.g. c:\C:\ProgramData\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion\Backups) and choose Ok,
6. Choose Ok to exit the configuration form.

Note: The above c:\programData folder is hidden by default.

It took me some time to figure out exactly what to do for DisplayFusion Pro 9.5, so I wanted to provide some written clarification for others and for future reference.

Two points re Backup settings:

1. As written 'Backup Settings' suggests that clicking here will offer a menu of settings for controlling Backups. The current function would be more accurately described as 'Backup DF Settings.' This is a trivial point but the reason for me mentioning it is as a consequence of point 2 below.

2. Many programs have now started placing folders in a user's 'My Documents' folder, DF included. This is extremely irritating as My Documents quickly becomes cluttered with largely irrelevant folders. Is there a way within DF of changing the default location of DF backups? I couldn't find one (I haven't yet been into the Registry).
