I've had issues with Surround. I have a 690 card, and running the config without the special bezel correction resolutions.

After loading a game, my center monitors taskbar is on top, where as the other two monitors have the taskbar at the bottom. I move the center monitors taskbar back to the bottom, play a game, and it reverts back to top again. Note: This also happens anytime the secure desktop UAC prompt appears.

The auto-split function doesn't work (or is not functional). Nothing happens when I check/uncheck it. I must use the manual horizontal split function.

I have to break SLI to switch back and forth, and I would love to click one single button to switch.

Hey guys,

Just a question here as I'm curious, where would your plans (mentioned in some older threads) stand in line for Nvidia surround support? Features such as separating the one large virtual monitor produced by surround into multiple segments of the specified or detected resolution for each segment and having them act completely as if it were an extended desktop.

I've been using DisplayFusion for a good while now and love it in extended desktop mode for 3 monitors. However due to flaws and oversights on Nvidia's part, you can't enable SLI and have a monitor plugged into anything but the first card. This is a problem when for example, you want to use two DisplayPort monitors and Nvidia only give you one on a single card with any offering (excluding Tesla/Quadro cards which for some reason are fine to have four DisplayPorts in addition to multi-monitor management software for them only). However, you can use all three monitors with SLI and with one or more plugged into the second card if you enable surround. My Windows experience is terrible with surround though compared to the ease and functionality DisplayFusion added to my extended desktop experience. It'd also be handy and timesaving to stay in surround instead of having to switch back to it for a game.

I understand it's a massive task and quite likely something planned for the (possibly very) distant future but I thought I might as well ask how prioritized this is People in my situation are no doubt in quite the minority but it's a frustrating situation for those who are. Apologies for the long-winded post.

Cheers,
Kent
