I thought I was going nuts (again) as it happened to me back in an earlier beta. Now the behavior is back in Beta 3.

As a work around:
Open up the settings, go to Windows Management and uncheck "Show monitor selector while dragging." - Chrome acts normal again.

I actually get this issue happening without any monitor selection appearing and on desktops with programs already open.
- Launch Notepad on monitor 1 and 2
- Launch Chrome 19.0.1084.46 on monitor 1 and open several tabs
- Activate any tab except the far right
- Drag far right tab and drop it on Notepad on monitor 2
- Right tab will be open in a new window on monitor 2 (as desired), however the window of the remaining tabs will also move over to monitor 2 (undesired)

It looks like when tearing out the right-most tab, and attempting to drop it on an empty desktop, the monitor selector overlay shows, and then both windows move when the mouse is released. The problem continues to appear under very specific circumstances. Essentially whenever I drag the Chrome tab on top of the other screen's Desktop, so that DisplayFusion's monitor selector pops up, dropping the frame will cause all Chrome tabs to switch monitors. If I avoid DisplayFusion's monitor selector to show up, by either dragging the Chrome tab on top of an already open application or by simply disabling the "Show monitor selector while dragging" option, only the tab I dragged is moved to the other monitor.

I reported a weird Chrome behavior during the 4.0 beta:

The problem was fixed with one of the next betas. Unfortunately with the new beta 2 of version 4.0.1 the problem is back. Using Chrome 20.0.1130.1 (current developer version) on a Windows 7 x64 SP1 machine.
