1. open "Chrome App Launcher"<br/>
2. right click the app you want to pin<br/>
3. select "Create Shortcuts"<br/>
4. Select "Desktop" only.<br/>
5. Go to desktop, right click the shortcut for the app, select "Properties"<br/>
6. Copy everything in "Target", then exit out.<br/>
7. ON DF taskbar, add a new shortcut.<br/>
8. Under "Application" enter the first part ""C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe"<br/>
9. Under "Command Line Arguments:" enter the rest, "--profile-directory=Default --app-id=fpniocchabmgenibceglhnfeimmdhdfm"<br/>
10. SAVE and enjoy!!<br/>
<br/>
I still had issues with everything stacking up on the taskbar and showing the Chrome icon. I.E. If I had chrome and plex open or any other chrome apps running. To solve that go to "Multi-Monitor Taskbar/shortcuts" and Select "Automatic". The shortcuts will remain where they are and any open windows will be separate. So if you have Chrome, Plex, Gmail all open it'll show one for each one instead of stacking them and only showing the Chrome icon.

Then tried to add it to the DF taskbar, no joy. Any ideas on how to get the Chrome Apps to pin to the DF7.1 taskbar?

That's a good question, Keith. I don't like pinning programs to the taskbar -- I've never liked that paradigm as I see the taskbar as a place for running apps only and I find it confusing to have both running and non-running apps on the same taskbar. <br/>
<br/>
That said, I did experiment and found that if I pin the Chrome apps to the main (Windows) taskbar, I can then launch the app and the icon will display correctly on either screen (i.e., on both the Windows and DF taskbars). So for now, I can live with that. But before the new version, it was working fine for apps not pinned, so I'm hoping you can restore that functionality. The shortcuts to the Chrome apps are on the "All Programs" menu, by the way. That's where Chrome places them by default. <br/>
<br/>
Thanks for your continued support. DisplayFusion is a great product that keeps getting better.

I just updated both my home and work computers to the latest version. Before the update, Chrome icons on the secondary taskbar behaved the same as on the primary Windows taskbar. That is, they displayed not the Chrome icon but the icon of the particular app that was running, for example Remember the Milk, Gmail, etc. Now when I have one or more Chrome apps running on my secondary monitor, the taskbar displays the generic Chrome icon for all of them. This is a problem because I can't discern between the apps. Is this a known issue? Both machines are running Win 7 64 bit.
