This happens with opera, chrome and edge. As mentioned above the task bar does hide when using fire fox.

Glad you can repro. Hopefully chrome can sort it out. Its a very weird thing to decide to do when dropping focus. I cant imagine why they would do that?! If you haven't could you perhaps update the chrome bug I raised with your findings? The more people that talk about it the more chance we stand of getting it fixed (though if you guys could work around it it that would be fantastic also!)

I noticed that when Chrome is full screen and focused, it's the full height of the screen (i.e. 1440px on my 2560x1440 monitor). When I click on something else, it changes to 1439px, which is what's preventing it from being detected as a full screen app.

So, as I mentioned, it's a Chrome bug for sure, but we may be able to work around it. I'll put it on on our list :)

Having a similar issue where if I have a fullscreen video(twitch on chrome in particular) on my secondary monitor. When i start doing stuffs on my primary monitor, the taskbar will be on top of my fullscreen.

Unchecking [Show taskbar in front of fullscreen applications when they lose focus] has not been working. This issue only persist recently but is a rather on/off situation.
