I had the same issue - until turning off the 'Auto Hide' on my main monitor taskbar. Seems DF dislikes that feature.

I reformatted my hard drive last night for other purposes and today I still cannot properly use the show hidden icon button. It will show hidden icons when on the main monitor, but requires at least 4-5 clicks on the second monitor to show and sometimes it never does. I'm not sure if a recent windows 8.1 update messed it up, or if there's a setting I should know about. Thanks. ]]>
