My bad. That's actually always been that way in XP, for some reason Windows wants to create the button on its taskbar every time a window gets focus, so we have to remove it really quickly every time. Unfortunately it's not possible for us to just straight up keep windows from adding it before it gets shown

I can't reproduce that here no matter how quickly I switch between desktops. Would you be able to send over a debug log after reproducing it? Here are the steps:

• On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "Logging: Important Only"
• Restart DisplayFusion
• The next time it occurs, note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
• Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
• Disable debug logging after sending the log

To be clear, my preference is that the taskbar entries remain on the DF taskbar when switching to a different virtual desktop. As is, the entries jump back and forth between the standard taskbar and the DF one.

I found this thread, but I actually want the taskbar entries to remain in place even after switching virtual desktops.

I am running a two monitor setup with two virtual desktops. I have Firefox open on the 2nd monitor on desktop 1. If I switch to desktop 2 where Firefox isn't visible, the taskbar entry for Firefox moves from monitor 2 to monitor 1. Is there any way to prevent this from occurring?
