Hi Keith

If you are only reading the registry to export the settings, why do you need to elevate the privelages for RegEdit? I can understand why you do it for restoring the settings and that in itself may still leave you with a problem but not for backup.

Just upgraded 4.3 to 5.0 and performed my normal backup process only to find that if you backup to a mapped network drive, it fails but if you use the UNC path to the same place it works fine. Also, even though it fails, the message from DF is that it was successful. The actual error message is from Registry Editor and it says: Cannot export G:\CMG\DisplayFusion\DisplayFusion Backup (2013-02-12 @ 09-07, 5.0.0.0, DC7800-CHRIS).reg: Error opening the file. There may be a disk or file system error.

Any ideas why?
