My wife and I are both trying out DisplayFusion on our computers but have started running into an increasing memory usage by DisplayFusion. We're both running BitDefender and we found some old posts about adding DisplayFusion folders into exclusions for BitDefender but I don't thnk they allow this anymore. We're using BitDefender Free (we're trying to find a replacement for MSE) and there doesn't seem to be a settings area anywhere.

My DisplayFusion is currently sitting at 600MB and today my wife saw hers climb over 1GB so we're wondering what he best logs to keep under the troubleshooting section in DisplayFusion for if someone was to analyze them.

All she was doing was browsing the web and playing Wildstar (an mmo) when it went over 1GB.

I've just tested this out here and indeed there doesn't appear to be a way to exclude a process when using Bitdefender Free. I've opened a ticket with them, and we're also going to have another look at it from our end to see if there's any sort of workaround we can implement. I'll be sure to post an update when we have one.

Thanks!

Fantastic, thanks for looking into it. I it 1.5GB today on mine. I just exit DisplayFusion and restart it and it's good for a bit. If you need any logs or anything let me know.

Not at the moment, but thanks for checking in! We're still waiting to hear back from Bitdefender, but I've just sent them another email to find out the status of the case :)

Thanks!
