I have a pc with windows 8.1 and the lastest Display Fusion Beta Version installed.

Sometimes, all at random, the display fusion loses the monitor profiles.

I have actually 4 profiles created and i change between them as i need.

I have 3 display surround configuration plus a tv.

My profiles are:

Single (the center monitor in the surround setup only).
TV only (self explanatory).
Surround (the 3 displays on).
Surround+TV (idem).

What happens is that display fusion appears to forget wich one is wich. Then when i try to change between them, it has lost the resolutions information and almost all the time it get stuck on the tv. I mean, all the information about resolutions is changed like it belongs to the tv, so it stop working.

Then i have to resetup the profiles again. It only started to happen with this last update.

I think I may know what's happening here, but I have a question for you first :)

When you save the profile originally, is the TV on, and then when you try to apply the profile later, is the TV off, and not showing at all in the Monitor Configuration window?

Hi, and thanks for your fast response. It is... the problem as i said occurs at random. For example: i created the four profiles, and usually i can use them without problems. But, when something happens (i don't know what could it be), the app loses the profiles configuration.

I usually have the tv off, unless i want to use it with the pc. Then i turn the tv on and only then i change the profile.

Hope it would help.

And no, the problem is not that the profile or the display doesn't appear. The problem is that the program forgets the resolutions and what display to use in any case.

For example the single profile gets the 5760px resolution of the surround one, or it enables the tv when it shouldn't, etc.

Could you grab a new copy of the Troubleshooting info (DebugInfo.txt) when the Profiles are fine, and another copy of the Troubleshooting info after they're messed up, so that I can compare them?

Thanks!

Thanks! When comparing these two, it looks like the only one that's changed is the profile called "SURROUND" and it seems to have a third monitor (ASUS VG23A) which seems to have messed up the monitor IDs. It looks like the ASUS monitor took monitor ID 1, and pushed the others down to 2 and 3. Is this a monitor that you detach/attach frequently?
