How do I set which monitor will show files that I download to my desktop? I'm using Windows 10; sometimes downloads appear on the furthest-right monitor, which is usually covered up with always-open programs.

DisplayFusion doesn't have any functionality for controlling where new desktop icons get created. Something like Fences might be able to do this though.

Hope that helps!

Great suggestion -- I already use Fences, so the location of new desktop icons may already be controlled there (or it could be...).

Thanks for the quick response!

If the box is grayed out, that means it's already the main display.

This only affects desktop-related activity. Your browser’s downloads folder will still be wherever your default save location is, but the icon shortcut (if downloaded to desktop) appears on the main monitor.

You can also rearrange how monitors are positioned by dragging them in the Display settings window—this doesn’t affect where downloads land, but it does impact how your cursor moves between screens.
