I searched but didn't find my issue (or didn't use the right keywords if the issue exists). I just noticed this issue today after re-imaging my primary work computer from Windows 7 to Windows 10 yesterday.

>Windows 10 Enterprise. 3 monitors. DisplayFusion Pro 8.0

>Monitor 3 is set to slideshow desktop wallpaper at a 1 minute interval.

>Trigger to move browser (Firefox) to monitor 1 and maximize. FWIW, I would like to have popups not maximize.

>If I have a popup window not maximized (e.g. Outlook Web Access compose e-Mail) underneath the main Firefox window while I'm working on a search, then whenever the desktop wallpaper changes on monitor 3, it brings the popup to the front (and if I'm focused on monitor 1, then I'll start typing in the popup instead of the tab that I was working on). If I'm working on monitor 2, then it keeps my typing on monitor 2, but I still see a blinking cursor in the email on monitor 1. If the popup is maximized, then it does not come to the front. Also, if the popup is moved to another monitor, it does the same thing if it's in the restored state: unfocus the Firefox window I'm working on in another monitor and moves it to the popup. It does not move affect the focus if it is in the maximized state. Also, I have it set to change the Options>Aero Color Settings>"Change the Aero color based on the current wallpaper image" enabled.

If that covers all the pertinent settings, then is there something I can change to keep the restored window from coming to the front? I never had this issue in Windows 7, the popups would not be forced to maximize nor would they come to the front after wallpaper slideshow changes whether they were restored or maximized.

If you disable the Aero Colour option, does that resolve the issue?

Yes, that worked. Thank you.

Awesome, glad to hear it! There's a bug in Windows 10 that causes some weird focus change issues when the Aero Colour changes. Unfortunately it's not something we can fix from our end, so the best solution for now is to just keep that setting disabled.

Thanks!
