I searched the forum for answers, but was unsuccessful. I am running DisplayFusion Pro on Steam license version 9.7 Beta 6.

For years, I was using Google Photos to see my albums and select photos for my Desktop on my desktop computer. Since the switch from the Picasa to Google Photos API, my desktop computer will not log in to my Google account via the Essential Objects web browser built into DisplayFusion. When I select Google Photos and try to log in. It asks for my email address and when I click next, it says: "Couldn't sign you in
This browser or app may not be secure.
Try using a different browser. If you’re already using a supported browser, you can refresh your screen and try again to sign in."

I have tried this repeatedly (with restarting the computer) and emptied my cache. Now, I am at a loss for how to fix this. Any advice?

Unfortunately we're at the mercy of Google on this one. We've updated to the latest version of the Google Photos API, and have submitted it for approval, but so far we haven't heard back yet :(

We'll be sure to post an updated when we have one.

Thanks!

Thank you. I had thought it was the security level of the essential objects browser.

In the latest 9.7 Beta version, this should now be working correctly. It will take you out to an external browser to login, and then Google Photos will provide a token for you to paste into the DisplayFusion Settings.

Thanks!
