My left monitor has the start button set to the right side. When clicking this, the start menu opens on the left side of the monitor. Is this normal behaviour and is there a way to set it to correspond to where the start button is placed?

The Start menu should open where the Start button is automatically. If you haven't already, could you try updating to DisplayFusion 9.4 Beta 3? We made some improvements to the Start menu moving code that should hopefully fix this up.

Installed the beta and while it does stay on the right side, it first opens on the left, stays there for a second then pops over to the right. Is this how it's planned to be or is this sort of buggy? If the former then I'd rather just keep it on the left.

Also would like to know if searching in the start menu isn't supported fully as if I open the start menu on a secondary or third monitor and start typing to search, the start menu on the main will appear and will happen there instead.

Both of those issues are just the way it is at the moment. We can't hook the Start menu in Windows 10, so we have to rely on polling to pick it up and move it after it opens :(

The search box has a similar issue but at the moment doesn't seem possible to move at all :(

Third-party start menus like Start10 work much better, but they're the old style menu: https://www.stardock.com/products/start10/

No problem, I am asking for a lot.

I will check that third-party menu out.

Thanks
