The repositioning of the ConEmu window doesn't work for me. The window seems to be correctly recognized, since the "minimize" option is working if selected.

Are there any known issues with DisplayFusion Pro 9.5 under Windows 10 Professional for ConEmu?

Does it not move at all? Or does it move but not size correctly?

Strange! It seems to work for me when I test it here. Are you manually loading the Window Position Profile? And does it work for other applications that are configured in the profile?

After some testing i noticed that the windows task manager is also not moved around, for all other application windows its just working fine.
I also tried to select the windows by different criteria (process name/window class/window text) but it still doesn't work.
But since the minimize works on both windows the problem seems to be the move action not the detection/selection of the windows.

Thanks Jonas! If you exit DisplayFusion, then right-click it and choose "Run as administrator", is it then able to set the position for ConEmu?

I have the same issue and running DF and other Window Managers as an Administrator has always been the solution. I've never been able to figure what the common demoninator is between the applications that won't respond. I don't like the solution of running as an Administrator but I've been living with it for a while and I guess I'll continue living with it.

This issue is that the apps that don't work are running as administrator, where DisplayFusion isn't. DisplayFusion will auto-elevate (high integrity) if all of the following are true:

  • Your user account is a member of the Administrators group
  • UAC is enabled
  • DisplayFusion is installed in the "C:\Program Files" or "C:\Program Files (x86)" directory

If any of the above are false, then DisplayFusion can only start with medium integrity, and it doesn't have access to manage applications that are started with high integrity.

Hope that makes sense, please let me know if you have any further questions at all.

Thanks!

That's what I initially thought but the programs I have trouble with do not run elevated and have no need to.

@dbaldon: If you run Process Explorer and add the "Integrity" column to the list, do the affected programs show as medium or high integrity?

Checking the Integrity level of the affected programs shows that they are indeed marked as "high".

Is that a compile option or can I change that on my system? If so, where would that be?

Usually programs run at high integrity when they're signed and run from the program files directory, or if they're manually launched as administrator, or set to launch as administrator in their compatibility settings.
