Hi,

I've had a good look around and can't find an answer on this - I'd like to hide my clock and icons on the primary screen. I can figure out how to do it on the secondary (right click secondary taskbar -> Multi-Monitor Taskbar -> System Tray, but not my main screen.

Is this possible?

Cheers.

What version of Windows are you using?

Hi Alan, I'm on Windows 10.

Unfortunately DisplayFusion can't modify the Windows taskbar on the Primary monitor. You could move the Windows taskbar to the second monitor (steps below), then hide the clock on the DF taskbar on the Primary monitor.
  • Right-click the taskbar, make sure Lock the Taskbar is disabled
  • Left-click and drag it to the bottom of monitor 2
  • Right-click the taskbar again and enable Lock the Taskbar

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the info Keith - reckon that'll just create the same dilemma with the start menu though. :)

But thanks - it's a minor niggle regardless!

Press the Winkey + i to open the Settings app.
Click on System then on Notifications and Actions.
Click on Turn System Icons On or Off
Switch the Clock slider to Off and its done.

Awesome Alan, thanks! It doesn't do all of the tray icons, but takes care of the Windows ones, and the clock at least :)
