Ever since the latest beta update I am having the same problem on Windows 7. The start menu opens up on the primary monitor only and consists through multiple restarts.

KamilZ and John-Michael: Could you guys attach a debug log? Here are the steps:
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "Logging: Important Only"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • Try clicking the Start button a couple of times, note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Thanks! Could you try the following?
  • Right-click the Windows taskbar on the primary monitor
  • Click the Navigation tab
  • Enable the "Show Start on the display I'm using when I press the Windows logo key option
  • Click OK, and try the Start button again

While we are waiting for Keith to get back to us, if you click the Start button on your secondary screen - (the DF taskbar) two or three times, does the Start Menu open on the primary screen everytime. With my machine which also is Win 8.1 Update 1 if I click the secondary Start Menu when I first logon it opens on the primary screen but thereafter it opens on the secondary screen. Just wondering if yours is the same as mine.

If you press the Windows key on the second monitor, does it open correctly there?

When DisplayFusion running then no.

When I terminate DisplayFusion and set "Show taskbar on all displays" then yes.

Ok, strange! Just to rule out the possibility that we may have already fixed this, could you try updating to the latest 7.0 Beta and send over a new debug log if it's still broken?
