the new windows 8.1 update 1 can allow you to pin windows store apps to the desktop it would be nice if you could make it able to do it on the display fusion task bar as well
We are hard at work on adding support for Windows 8.1.1, don't worry. We'll have improved Metro support for all versions of Windows 8, along with some 8.1.1 specific features.
We've just released a new DisplayFusion beta version (http://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/) and you can now create shortcuts on the DF taskbar to Metro applications via the Taskbar Shortcuts window (right-click > Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Shortcuts > Edit). Please let us know if you run into any trouble after updating.
