New issue since 12.1.?. Does not occur in 12.0.?:
Pressing ALT+TAB, holding ALT:
- Windows' dialog appears for a fraction of a second
- DisplayFusion's dialog shows up
Presumably that's the root cause for this annoying issue:
A short press of ALT+TAB to switch back to the previous window, brings the other window to the front and then immediately switches back to the first window.
Both dialogs (Win & DF) perform a "switch to previous window"
I have to press ALT for a longer time to really bring the other window to the front.
Settings:
"Show on primary monitor only, show all windows"
[x] Show window text below each Alt+Tab item
[x] Show window icon below each Alt+Tab item
[-] Show close button
[-] Show the Desktop window

I can't seem to reproduce this here. Are you able to reproduce the same issue after a fresh reboot? Also, how many windows do you have open when you're testing this?

Rebooted today after installing Windows updates.
The fast ALT+TAB even fails with just 14 windows.
Good time to use the slow motion recording on my smartphone for the first time: less than 120ms.
Could you backup your DisplayFusion Settings (Settings > Options > Export) and reply with the backup file attached? I'll restore it on a test machine here to see if I can reproduce this.

Would you be able to send me the debug info from Settings > Troubleshooting? I'd like to check out some DisplayFusion settings and the uiAccess level. Thanks!

Fresh clean reboot (shutdown -r).
Opened windows until the issue appears.

Sorry for the delay, we haven't been able to replicate this issue. I just want to confirm that you're always using the "Show on primary monitor only, show all windows" mode when you run into this issue, correct? Are you noticing any other issues with DisplayFusion? I'm wondering if it's a hooking issue but I would expect there to be other weird things happening too.
That is very strange for sure. We are in the process of getting 12.1.2 Beta 1 ready to release this week. Can you give that a try once it's available and see if the improved hooks help fix this issue?
