Hi,
Iv notice that my second monitor taskbar has become sluggish, taking 5 seconds change windows status and the start menu. Iv only just notice that looking at task manager Displayfusion is using anywhere between 30-50% CPU all the time. Power usage is also Very High. I dont think this is normal. 20 days ago

Does the high CPU usage start immediately after a fresh reboot, or only after DisplayFusion has been running for a while?

Sorry for the delay, we've been a bit backlogged due to the holidays. We think we have a lead on this issue. Could you try out this build and let me know how it goes?

It's still a lot for a "background program"! Win 10 2004 fully patched, 8700k. Thanks to the devs for the continued support ![]() 6 days ago (modified 6 days ago)

@Dart: Thanks! Noticed in the troubleshooting info that you're running Acronis True Image. We've been doing some more research here, and it appears the the "Protection" features of Acronis are causing the CPU usage to be amplified 2-3x. We've optimized it from our end as much as we can with DisplayFusion 9.7.2 Beta 2 (released yesterday), but there isn't anything else we can do from our end. We've reached out to Acronis to see if they can offer any insights.
@William: Glad to hear it's better! 9.7.2 Beta 2 has some more improvements so it may lower that a bit more. Note that DisplayFusion has to use a lot of background polling to keep information up to date and catch changes that there aren't hooks available for, so it will always use some CPU, even when seemingly "idle." 4 days ago
