Hi all,

This problem was also in 3.4.1 so I thought maybe upgrading to a beta that this would have been resolved, possibly. But the issue is that after the screen has been locked, when you move the mouse to turn the screen back on, the 'ctrl+alt+del' screen is available but you cannot hit the key sequence and the system is unresponsive at that point.

Steps to Reproduce
1. Log into Windows and have DF open
2. Lock screen with Win+L
3. Wait for screen to turn off after some inactivity (about 15 - 20 mins)
4. Shake the mouse and see 'Press ctrl+alt+del to unlock'
5. Try to press key sequence, observe nothing happening

Relevant Information
-Windows 7 Pro SP1
-Power Options set to Balanced and HDD turns off after 20 mins
-Problem was not in 3.4.0 as far as I know

Interesting! We haven't had anyone else report this issue, but I'll test it out here and report back as soon as I have some news.

Thanks!

Thanks! I thought I saw someone having the same issue before but it turns out it was DF just flat out crashing from time to time, which I don't experience.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to reproduce this issue here.

Could you update to 3.5 Beta 8, and if you're still have the same issue, attach the info from the Troubleshooting tab?

Thanks!

Hi Keith,

I upgraded to Beta 8 and the same thing just happened. When I brought my machine back up, I got the troubleshooting info and the log.

Thanks Mike!

There are a lot of errors in the log that indicate that the DisplayFusion issues might just be a symptom of a larger problem on your system.

If you exit DisplayFusion completely, lock the system and wait for it time out, does the same issue occur?

No, that's the thing. I have to close Display Fusion to work or else I can't get back into my system after lunch. Since this is my work computer, I have Netbeans 7.1, Firefox 10, Outlook, and Microsoft Lync open at all times. How would I go about troubleshooting from here?

Ok, we'll be releasing 3.5 Beta 9 this week with a lot of behind the scenes changes to the taskbar, so hopefully that will fix up your issue. If not we'll troubleshoot from there so that we're testing on the latest version of the code.

I'll let you know as soon as 3.5 Beta 9 is available.

Thanks!

We had an issue with 3.5 Beta 9 and had to pull it, but 3.5 Beta 10 is available now. Could you give it a try and let me know if you still run into the same issues?

Thanks!

Well I'm using v4.0.0 beta 12 and I've been able to lock my workstation and come back and everything is fine.

So problem fixed!
