Hi there,
As the title says I think there is a minor bug in DF at the moment related to pinned items. What happens is the following, soon as you go to the Multi-Monitor Taskbar > Shortcuts > Edit Shortcuts, and click Save in the screen that opens up. It decides to erase the entire user set sorting of items and uses it's own sort, which in my honest opinion makes no sense, because why offer users the option to change sortings then...
That's definitely a bug, thanks for letting us know! We'll get that fixed up for the next beta.
I also saw your message in the other thread about unsubscribing. There isn't currently a way, but we're going to add it as soon as we get a chance.

In relation to this, I may have found another bug to the pinned items. It seems that applications launched from the pinned items, get forced to open on the screen the given taskbar is located on. Though not all applications seem to be affected. It should also be noted that I do not have the configuration setting for forcing windows to open on the same monitor enabled. And apart from this, it also seems to work fine if there is an entry in the window location list.
In the settings for the pinned item itself (right-click > Edit Pinned Item), there should be a setting for forcing that specific pinned item to the screen it was launched from. Can you double check that you also have that setting disabled?

It seems that setting was indeed enabled. So I suppose it wasn't a bug after all! That was a bit hidden away though...
