If I open an Edge window on my secondary monitor, or open it on the primary monitor and move it to the secondary monitor, the Edge icon appears on both the primary and secondary monitor taskbars. I understand this is happening with UWP apps like Skype, but is Edge also a UWP app and is that why this is happening?

Thanks.

Edge is also a UWP app, yep! We've got this issue open on our list still, and we'll be sure to let you know when it's all fixed up.

Thanks!

Hi, until now I didnt have this issue, my edge always appeared on its own monitor. But now, maybe after 20H2 windows update, the edge is on both monitors. That is weird after quite long usage. Thats how I came to this post. Is here something we can do?
Thank you.

Hello,

This is a bug with that version of Windows. They seem to have it fixed up in their most recent insider build, so once it becomes public, everything should be back to normal.

Thanks!

I am running the latest insider dev build, and am still seeing this behavior.

Hi Bob,

Interesting, could you give me the version number of your Windows build?

Thanks!

Build 21322. I expect a new build is coming today so will check again and report.

UPDATE: Installed new insider build 21327 today and the problem still exists, for all versions of Edge (dev, canary and standard).
