Windows 11 has added the ability to drag a file over minimized windows in the taskbar to bring it to the front and drop the file. Currently it works on my main, Windows 11 taskbar, but it does not work on my DisplayFusion taskbar.

Are there any plans to make this possible? Believe it was a working feature on Windows 10. Currently on DisplayFusion Pro 10 beta 19 + Widnows 11 (22H2) [22621] Enterprise

Sorry if a repeat, couldn't find a discussion on this.

Works for me on Windows 11 Home, 22H2, 22621.1194; DF 10.0 b19. Tried to drag files from the desktop to a running app, and a tab between two Firefox windows.

You're right, it does work but I found a repeatable issue.

If the program is pinned to the DisplayFusion taskbar on launch then you can't bring the program to front by dragging a file over it.

If you Unpin the program from the DisplayFusion taskbar it will immediately let you bring to front by dragging a file over the icon.

If you pin a program to the DisplayFusion taskbar it will continue to bring to front when dragging a file over the icon, then stop working once the program has been closed and re-opened.

Makeshift solution is to not pin programs that I drag files between on the DisplayFusion taskbar.

I don't seem to have that issue. The only thing that fails is dragging a file to a pinned application that is not open on that screen. I don't expect that to work.

@Cookiebutter: Got your email and reproduced this issue here as well. We've added it to our list to fix up :)

Thanks!
