I've previously added and moved buttons on the window titlebars but can't find how to do that and can't find anything in the help documents. I think you could drag a function like "Move to Next Monitor" to the title bar on the Setting >> Functions window. I've tried right click and drag. PS: I don't want to use the Short-Cut key combos. :x

Hello,

If you select the function you would like in that list, you can press the "Toggle Titlebar Button" to add/remove it. If it's enabled on the titlebar, you can drag it in the graphic shown in your screenshot to re-order them.

Hope that helps!

We'll look into adjusting that button to make it clearer :)

Thanks!

Our latest beta should have those buttons adjusted to say "Add" Or "Remove" based on the current state of the button. You can update to the beta using this link: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta/

Thanks!

That worked! Thanks

A suggestion: When using Chrome users has multiple tabs open the DF Taskbar buttons become hidden. After closing enough tabs, they show up.

Maybe a solution to this is, when all buttons can’t be shown, to add an option to the Settings to allow assigning a dropdown button that contains just the buttons that the user wants? I know that this would be more involved than a change to a label on a button :P

PS: I’ve been in Software Development for 48 years, including multiple years as an SQE and an SQA Manager, so I understand the value of customer feedback and responding quickly when a suggestion is assessed as possibly being valuable to the majority of users.:laugh:

We have this open as a feature request as well, so I've added your vote to it.

If you enable the following option in the DisplayFusion Settings > Advanced Settings window: "TitleBar Buttons: Don't Hide for Top-Tab Web Browsers", it should prevent that from happening as well.

Thanks!

Great! That's a workable temporary solution. Thanks :)

And for these who's trying figure out how to add/remove or disable buttons all together, the setting is not in very intuitive place:
Settings -> Functions
Perhaps a button/link to that tab could be added into "Window Management"?
