Hello

I got Display Fusion Pro 10.1.1, bought on steam. My issue is that I have three screens on my PC and after pretty much every GPU (Nvidia) Driver update, the taskbars forget what shortcuts were pinned to it.

Example, my left screen only has a VPN shortcut on the taskbar, middle in main screen, right one has spotify and other things. When I update the GPU Driver, the left one has no shortcuts and the right one has the VPN.
It has progressed so far that I seemingly "Filled a pool of taskbar shortcuts" where through the last half year I kept filling taskbars, so now after the GPU Driver update my left sccreen's taskbar has icons from the right screen I used months ago, with things like Ninjaripper, while the right screen uses a setup I had used even further back where spotify is missing.

It's pretty annoying to have to set up the taskbars after every GPU update. So it would be cool if we can have taskbar shortcut profiles, just like we can have with wallpapers. So that when it inevitably happens again, i can just with one click set one taskbar to use a setup i want.

cheers!

Strange, are the updates swapping your monitor ID's around?

If you create a backup via the DisplayFusion Settings > Options > Export Settings, it should store your shortcut info, so you can just load that backup.

Thanks!

I exported my current settings, after I redid the taskbar again. While doing so I found old backups, one of just two days ago before I updated my drivers. Loading that one just messes up the taskbars again.

It seems as the updates really are swapping my monitor ID's around, but i never paid attention to the ID's. So i'm not sure if that really is the case.
Either ways, looks like backups are not working as intended.

It's not that big of a deal because i made a folder where the shortcuts i need reside in, but still annoying to do.
The ability to make a profile "per screen" so i could swap one entire screens setting to another would still be nice to have.

Thanks for your reply.

This is currently on our feature request list, so I've added your vote to it. We'll be sure to let you know if/when we're able to implement it in the future.

Thanks!
