Hello,

I have observed the Alt + Tab handler that DisplayFusion uses not consistantly ordering the last used window as the proceeding target window when pressing alt + tab. Disabling DisplayFusion to preview Windows 11's native alt + tab handler does not appear to have this issue. Example: Current window is Google Chrome and previous focused window was DisplayFusion settings window. Pressing alt + tab to switch back to the expected DisplayFusion window sometimes does not return back to this window, it may target another window in the alt + tab sequence. The ordering of DisplayFusion's preview/sequence when holding alt + tab sometimes also does not show the correct/expected most recent to last ordering.

Correct me if I am wrong but prior versions of DisplayFusion (cannot confirm the issue started in 12.1 beta 3, may have started in prior versions) did not have this issue and I am fairly certain this behaviour is undesirable and I have searched the disussions to see if there have been other reports of this but I did not find anything relevent.

Thanks!

I have been testing out the new version (v12.1, Beta 4) and I can confirm my aforemention issue(s) appears to be resolved. I will continue to test and will report back if there are any issues.

Thanks for the update!

Hi, Owen

I am noticing regression in the recent fix pertaining to my aforementioned issue.

ALT + Tab ordering does not appear to be as inconsistant as initially reporting however, it does appear to have regressed back to a poorer state. Sometimes the ALT + Tab order is correct but sometimes not. I unfortunately can't seem to reproduce an out of order sequence, it's rather random when it occurs. Example, ALT + Tab from Google Chrome to Notepad then to Spotify does not always return back to expected Notepad app post ALT + Tab from Spotify, could target Google Chrome or another tab in ALT + Tab sequence.

Still running DisplayFusion Pro 12.1 (Beta 4), Windows 11 (25H2 [26200.8875] (did not start occuring post recent Windows update I installed yesterday).
