I got display fusion pro so that I could have a full taskbar on my second monitor and while thats ok Ive found that when I alt tab, it doesnt actually go to the program I was previously using and seems to go in a completely random order instead.

The order of the secondary taskbar also seems to be random as well.

Have you changed the Alt+Tab Handler mode in the DisplayFusion Settings, or are you just using the defaults?

Also, if you haven't already tried the latest beta, could you give it a go? You can grab it here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Download/Beta

Thanks!

I feel pretty silly for not seeing that setting. Disabling it fixes the problem (even though I still cant alt tab to a borderless windowed application (not sure if its actually display fusion)).

Tried the new beta and it acts the same as the normal version.

A good test for that borderless window would be to exit DisplayFusion completely and see if it still occurs.

Regarding the Alt+Tab Items being in random order, would you be able to enable the Alt+Tab Handler again, and send over a debug log? Here are the steps:
  • On the Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L2: Log Detailed"
  • Restart DisplayFusion
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Send us the DisplayFusion.log and DebugInfo.html files (can be found by clicking the Open Log button on the Troubleshooting tab)
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!
