When using Windows default Alt+Tab, pressing Alt+Tab once immediately switches to the previously used application. However, with DisplayFusion's Alt+Tab handler enabled, this behavior doesn't work the same way.
Is there a setting to make DisplayFusion's Alt+Tab handler behave like Windows native Alt+Tab for single keypresses? Specifically, I want to be able to quickly toggle between my two most recent windows without seeing the switcher UI.

Thank you for your feedback! Does the DisplayFusion Alt+Tab switcher make the window switch for you after showing the switcher or does it fail? Is your primary concern that you don't want to see the switcher or is the switcher failing to work correctly? Thanks!

Hi, im also have this issue, on v12.0.1. my settings are attached.
When I press alt tab, it doesn't switch to the last active window (default windows behaviour) I have click on the window to select it. I have a dual monitor setup.

I have not changed anything in the advanced settings section for alt-tab

Could you update to 12.0.2 Beta 7 and then send us a debug log for this issue?

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and then click "Clear Log"
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log
