Hello,

I primarily work from home, but occasionally I'll go into the office where it's just a hot desk situation. We have a big office with a lot of desks and at least 2 monitors per desk. The problem I'm facing is that I connect to new monitors that I haven't connected to before, then Windows won't recognize them (naturally) and won't have any pre-existing stored setting for them. By default, Windows will set the monitors to duplicate instead of extend. After changing the monitors to extend, I'd have to then set the resolution for each monitor.

Furthermore, I have a portable USB-C powered monitor and it has a pretty high resolution, but I always set it to a lower one. Due to having multiple additional new monitors in the mix, Windows doesn't recognize the display resolution that was previously configured on this portable monitor.

I don't want to have to go through all this configuration every time I go into the office, it's just a waste of time and it's something that I think could be automated.

My question is, can I configure a monitor profile and force it to apply automatically to all monitors by default? I've tried to apply monitor profiles for when I'm connected to new monitors that I haven't connected to before, and they don't go from duplicate to extend and also don't change the resolution.

I've added this to our feature request list. We don't guarantee that feature requests will be implemented, or offer timelines on possible implementation. We'll be sure to let you know if we do add it to our planned features in a future version.

Thanks!
