I'm having issues with my new Surface Laptop with ARM and my ultrawide monitor with 3 splits. Some programs, like Chrome and OneNote maximize properly to the split, but other programs, like Outlook, File Explorer, and Teams, all maximize to the whole monitor. I have to manually resize and place Outlook in the center split to make my workflow manageable.

I'm running DFP 11.2 Beta 5 with Windows 11 (24H2) [26100.4946].

Any ideas? Should I go back to 11.2 (not beta)?

I'm still having issues with my Surface Laptop with ARM. Currently on 12.1 Beta 2. The windows are maximizing properly now but other things aren't working.

Mainly, DP doesn't properly configure itself when I dock my laptop. If I'm working on my laptop and the plug in to the MS Dock, it seems to detect the correct profile, but doesn't load on the docked ultrawide monitor with 3 splits, even if I manually select the correct monitor profile. The splits don't show up, or sometimes the splits will show up but the taskbars on each split don't load. I end up having to restart DP everytime I dock and then it works fine until I undock again.

Should I go back to an earier version? I thought the ARM compatibility issues were getting fixed?

Could you send me a debug log? Here are the steps:

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and then click "Clear Log"
  • Reproduce the issue and note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

I replied to the e-mail. Let me know if I should reply here also. Thanks!
