When I test here it seems to work ok. I tested by manually loading the monitor profile using the menu in the monitor configuration window. Are you switching profiles a different way?

I change the resolution and frequency through other utilities.
probably it the same as changing in the Windows/NVIDIA Control Panel.
it works after the first boot, but not works after switching to second monitor.
profile is detected normally, maybe the module stops working.

Few more questions for you, as I can't reproduce this here when changing the display config via DisplayFusion, Windows settings, or automatic switching in windows on monitor connect/disconnect:

  • Does it fail to switch the audio device every time?
  • Does it switch the audio device if you manually load the monitor profile?
  • What is the tool you're using to change the display config?

  • Does it fail to switch the audio device every time?
  • It never work until restart Displayfusion.
  • Does it switch the audio device if you manually load the monitor profile?
  • Yes it works fine.
  • What is the tool you're using to change the display config?
I switch to manual using tray shortcuts without automation features.

Could you send me a debug log for this issue?

  • On the DisplayFusion Settings > Troubleshooting tab, change the Logging drop-down to "L1: Log Minimal" and click Apply
  • The next time this issue occurs, note the time so we'll know where to check in the log file
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button on the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Reply with the file attached
  • Disable debug logging after sending the log

Thanks!

Thanks! I need to get a bit more info. Could you set the logging to L2: Log Detailed, reproduce the issue again, and then send me the new log?

Thank you! Are any of the DisplayFusion windows (Settings, Monitor Config) open while you're reproducing the issue, or are they all closed and DisplayFusion is just running in the background?

It just opened for check profile matching and save logs, after the problem occurred.

Ok, thanks for confirming! I'm putting this on my list to review with our developers and will update here when I have more news.
