Hello,

I have a second monitor on the way and after many reviews I feel that Display Fusion is the perfect piece of software for what I am looking to do. I will be using it to play a game on 1 monitor and have internet open on another while easily being able to hotkey lock/unlock the mouse. My question, however, comes from the fact I will be using 1 of the monitors as my primary monitor for FPS PC Gaming, but the other will be for MMO's (IPS for better color and don't need the response time). Can I set up both screens with bars for shut down and such so that either can be used as a primary screen? Also I will be using the IPS monitor for console gaming, the monitor will be on obviously, I don't want to deal with constantly turning things off and on so can I have that "second" window open without knowing its there?

Thanks in advance.

DisplayFusion will indeed put a taskbar on both monitors :)

If you want to disable the second monitor when you're using it for console games, you can setup Monitor Profiles for having that monitor enabled, and disabled, and then swap between them using a hotkey: https://www.displayfusion.com/KB/MonitorProfiles/

Hope that helps!

Thank you very much for the response it was extremely helpful.

I am glad to hear it will put taskbars on both monitors in which case I do not even need to bother switching them off an on and primaries because I will lock the mouse onto whichever is on. However I forgot to ask if you can bind all these different hotkeys to anything? I was going to do the mouse lock to my mouse wheel click due to how I'll be using it every few minutes while I am in a game to lock and unlock so I can use both screens, but for the swapping primary displays hotkeys can I make them something fairly random so I dont take up hotkeys I would nornally use? Like shift+5+q, for example.

If your mouse has software that will allow you to customize the middle-click behaviour, then you should be able to just bind it to whatever hotkey you've set for that function in DisplayFusion. DisplayFusion itself can't take over the middle-click behaviour though.

And yes, you can set the key combinations to whatever you like, as long as they're not already in use by Windows, or another program on your system :)
