Hi, I had to restore today but I found it was only doing a partial back when doing an auto backup, you can even tell witht he file sizes, my backups are usually 700-100k, the auto backups are only about 400k.
Luckily I had taken a full backup a few week back and not much had changed, are the autobackups only doing differential backups, if so how can I change this to a full backup?

The auto backup should be a full backup. If you load one of those backups, is it missing any settings?

yes, its missing about 75% of my windows position profiles, if I use a manual backup it works fine, only happens when I try to use a backup thats been done as auto. You can see there is something missing in the size of the backups which auto creates, they are half the size of a manual backup (see screen shot)

Could you reply with an auto-backup and a manual backup attached so that we can compare them? We're not able to reproduce this issue here.

Hi, files as requested, as you can see they are hugely different in size.

if you have started with a restore of my settings from a full backup which should be about 700K, if you then do a manual backup to a folder it should be about 700K. if you leave it overnight to do a automated backup whenever those take place If you have the same problem as me it should come out about 400K and have lots of bits missing.
The automatic backups only happen during version upgrades. Do you have a Windows Scheduled Task or something setup to do automatic backups more frequently?

i've not had an autobackup since the last one in decemeber but it still doesnt really explain what going on, you must see the file sizes are completely different so there must be something missing from the smaller one...
I see that they're different from your machine yeah, but we've tested on several machines here and can't reproduce them being different file sizes, they're the same size regardless of whether it's an auto-backup during update or a manual backup.
Can you try updating to 12.0.2 Beta 7 and then send me the new auto-backup that it generates?

I will wait for the next auto backup to see what happens There is an update to instal at some point I need admin access as this is my work laptop though
Sounds good, just keep me posted when you're able to do the update, no rush.
