Re: Windows 8 Pro x64 | DisplayFusion v5.0.0, Beta 2 | Classic Menu / Classic Start 3.62 + custom START png

As shown in the attached screen capture, START opens BEHIND the DF Taskbar and the the Programs menu opens on the primary rather than the secondary monitor.

Have reverted to Beta 1 successfully.

Best ~ HPG

P.S. Did not Restart or Log Off to confirm this apparent bug.

Tested and confirmed, thanks Hans!

We'll have the issue of it opening behind the taskbar fixed for Beta 3. Unfortunately, due to the changes in the integration (we can no longer bundle Classic Shell, so we're now only supporting it when it's already installed) we're not able to fix the issue of the Programs menu opening to the left. It will need to be fixed up on the Classic Shell end.

Thanks!

Keith: is this worth bringing to Ivo's attention, or does he already know about it?

Happy Thanksgiving!

We'll definitely get in contact with him to let him know about it :)

Thanks!

Just a quick follow-up: The Classic Shell Start menu should no longer open behind the taskbar when it's in the vertical position.

Regarding the issue of the flyout menu opening to the left: We contacted the Classic Shell developer (Ivo) about it, and it doesn't look like he's interested in working with us on that issue :(

Just a quick update, Ivo fixed this up in the latest version of Classic Shell, so a big thanks goes out to him for fixing that up!
