On Beta 5 now, using the Scripted Function "Window Click Through Toggle" on any window works beautifully.
For almost a seconds, that is. The application immediately falls off the Display Fusion Taskbar as if it were terminated and the TitleBar buttons fall off the application as well.. It remains on the Windows Taskbar, as it should, and responds like normal to a right click on the application in the Windows Taskbar to close or from hover preview clicking the X control.
Click Thru Toggle working as intended from a functionality standpoint. However as I said, the application disappears from the DisplayFusion Taskbar and TitleBar Buttons fall off.
I have two monitors, no splits, Windows Taskbar on primary, DF Taskbar on second monitor. I was able to recreate the issue repeatedly on Notepad, Firefox, Explorer, iCue, Wow client, Battlenet, and even the DF Settings window.
The Scripted Function "Window Click Through Toggle" (by Renan Goncalves Micheletti & Thomas Malloch (BFS)) is from the Download Pre-Made Function gallery that comes with DF.
It was launched from the window's Jump List on the DF Taskbar. I went ahead and tested the Scripted Function from as a TitleBar Button and got the same results.
Tested with "Make Window Translucent and Enable Click-Through" & "Make Window Translucent and Enable Click-Through then Return Windows to Previous State" (what a title!) from the same Download Pre-Made Function gallery and got he same results.
I'm too tired to do any more testing on this and will leave this too in your good and capable hands.
Attached is a L3 log captured while recreating the issue & the Debug Info .zip.
(nothing has improved since my last few posts - it seems every time I use something that I haven't touched in DF for a while its completely bricked! and so i'm dropping the Beta versions and rolling waaay back for the forseeable)
Thank you for all the support, for having a support board available for users, and for truely striving to go way beyond the typical "canned respone" type support that is so commonplace nowadays.
