When I booted my system after installing beta 7, two startup programs came up with blinking on-top caption bar buttons. These two windows were overlapped in the caption area by other windows. Bringing them to them to the foreground stopped the blinking. Before bringing them to the foreground, moving any other window around them caused that window to move underneath the buttons. Before bring the last blinker to the foreground, I shot a video with my cell phone. The attached video shows the anomaly. It is actually a MOV, but because your forum doesn't allow them to be uploaded, I changed the extension to MPG. You will need to rename it before playing it.

I could reboot and see if it happens again. Any other info you need?

Thank you for the video! It makes understanding the issue much easier. :) I would love to know if the issue happens after rebooting, or if it is just a one-time thing. Also, can you post the debug log after the next time this happens (or send it to me directly)? Thanks!

Well, it happens consistently. I rebooted. I recorded the blinking again. See video (MOV renamed to MPG). I also attached a log. It was only startup notify window from Process Lasso, this time, rather than two of them. Don't know why it's different.

As a bonus, here is a log excerpt (after I made a copy that I attached) from when I clicked on one of the blinker buttons, causing the hidden window to jump to the foreground.

We've definitely fixed up a few of the causes for the blinking TitleBar Buttons, so I'm closing this out.
