Hi,
Thanks for such a great program! :-D
One thing I'm not sure if I've misunderstood what it should do - or if it's just not working properly, is "Span window across all monitors".
When I press the hot-key (ctrl-win-numpad0) the window does resize, apparently across both monitors - but the half of the window on the secondary monitor is not visible - it appears to be behind the desktop!
Two monitors, Matrox G400/G450 DualHead adaptor (I think)

Cheers! Moff.

Can you please post a screenshot of your display configuration? I just need to see how the screens are aligned and what resolutions they are.

Thanks,
Jon

I have a similar problem except that the "span multiple monitors" just resizes the window to which ever monitor it is on. So it is behaving like using "maximize".

Hi,

Just installed the program (v1.4.2) for the first time. I have exactly the same behaviour as DancesWithBamboo. Am I just missing something...?

WinXP SP2, ATI X1800XT, two monitors, primary with DVI and secondary by VGA.

Jon,

I too would like to thank you for this wonderful bit of software; it's a certain addition to my "standard setup".

Having said that, I appear to be experiencing the same issue as others in this Topic. The "Span window across all monitors" does not seem to work as I had expected it too. When pressing the HotKey (the default: Ctrl + Win + Tilde), the application window on the primary monitor goes through the motions of appear to expand (By this I mean: it appears to regenerate and expand so that only half of the window is displayed on the primary monitor. ). However, the newly expanded window, and the now missing other half, never appear on the second monitor.

I'm using the latest version (1.4.2) available.

My configuration screen shots are attached below. (It is not shown in the screen shots below, but both monitors are Dell UltraSharp 1908FPs):

Can you confirm if this is a known bug, or are we all just crazy? :-P

It sounds like a bug for sure. Thank you for the screenshot - I'll get to work trying to reproduce this error so I can fix it.

Thanks!

I think I have figured out the problem and a fix will hopefully be included in the next release of DisplayFusion.

Thanks!
