Hi All,

I've known about DF for many years and each time I've tried it I get so confused I give up. My requirements are hopefully really simple. Let me explain what I need and why.

I have 3 x Samsung T240 24" monitors connected to an RTX2070 GPU using Nvidia surround at 5760 x 1200 resolution This is what I use 90% of the time. I also have a couple of games which I want to only use my centre monitor for at the monitors default resolution of 1920 x 1200 in full screen mode yet I still want to retain the use of my left and right monitor for web use, game chat, etc.

Can you tell me if and how DF can help me and pointers as to how to configure it?

Thanks

Hi Darren,

If your playing your games in full screen, this likely won't be possible, as they natively go to the resolution of your primary monitor.

If you play in windowed, or borderless windowed, this likely is possible. If you head into the monitor configuration screen, you can create a monitor profile with splits to match where you physical monitors would be (at each 1920x1200 interval). When you go to play your game, you can load the game into the main split (your center monitor) and then use the other splits for whatever you need.

If you need any help setting that up, just let us know. We also have a help guide found here that might help you out: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/working-with-monitor-splits/?ID=44152bec-fda4-42ef-a636-e40c7c4813fc#first

Thanks!

Thanks. I guess what I'm asking for is an automated way of going from Nvidia Surround to either single monitor (my middle one) or extended. Is this possible?

Hi Darren,

Unfortunately, it's not possible to switch between nVidia Surround with display Fusion.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help!
