I recently changed my setup and I currently have 2 monitors side by side where the left one is meant for general entertainment (youtube, netflix) and the right one is meant for work. I use virtual desktops for work as well and my idea was to be able to switch desktops on the right monitor, but keep the desktop on the left monitor static, but sadly this is not how windows 10 works. Whenever I try to switch desktops (ctrl+windows+left/right), it happens on both monitors.

I know I have the option to set a window to appear on all desktops and this is actually my current solution (I do that for whatever I have on the left monitor), but this is not ideal.

So, DisplayFusion can technically help here, but it's actually a bug.

If you make your right monitor the Primary monitor, and have the DisplayFusion taskbar mode set to "All taskbars show relevant", anything on the non-primary monitor will stay on the screen when switching virtual desktops.

This bug will get fixed at some point, so your mileage may vary :)
