I've uninstalled DF, but now I can't change my wallpaper (i.e., I can't right click on a picture and set as desktop background). Also, I can't use my Windows 7 themes. I'm just locked on that last wallpaper set up by DF. Any ideas? I'm running Windows 7 (obviously). Thanks!

If you right-click on the desktop and click "Personalize", then "Desktop Background", are you able to select a new image or solid colour? The only way DisplayFusion would ever prevent another application from changing the wallpaper is if it is still running in the background. But if you've uninstalled it, I it's very strange indeed. Did you try rebooting after the uninstall, to make sure it was properly closed and removed?

Thanks for the tip Jon, but I've tried that and it still doesn't work. Also, I tried restoring to a point previous to the installation and still no dice. Any other ideas? Thanks!

What happens when you try to use the Windows wallpaper utility? Does it change the wallpaper at all, and then it changes back? Or does it just do nothing at all?

In an effort to cleanup the DisplayFusion forum, this topic is being locked and archived because it applies to an older version of DisplayFusion. If you are using the latest version of DisplayFusion and would still like some assistance, please create a new topic and I'll be happy to help you out. There are also beta versions available for testing the latest features and bug fixes:

Thanks! :)
