Hi,

I'm brand new to the world of multi-monitor, and it's freaking amazing !
I instantly install Display Fusion and it make my life even more simple ! But one shadow is just frustrating my experience, i cant just go to my 2nd screen do stuff without my 1rst screen is alt-tabing. It's king of weird, unproductive and frustrating. I found that behavior going the opposite way of the multiscreen principle...

Maybe there is a setting somewhere, but i did not find it... Maybe a gentle soul could help me ?

Regards.

Glad to hear you like it, thank you for the kind words!

You can try the "Prevent Window Deactivation" function, please see the guide for that here: https://www.displayfusion.com/Discussions/View/preventing-game-windows-from-minimizing/?ID=ab5ec329-4190-4dff-8d63-e9b5f611656e

Hope that helps!

Hi there,

Indeed the article was helpfull, but it the bahavior is kind of weird.
When i'm in a full screen app, mouse is look on the screen at all time even when there are a mouse cursor.

If you alt-tab, the windows taskbar will appear even with this function and you can change screen without quitting app screen, that's good.

But at the moment the app does not have a cursor anymore, the cursor will not appear in the other screen, and so you will have only keyboard to control it. This is not really practical.

I hope you will get my situation.

Regards.

Edit : Also i see that wildcard sometimes doesnt work, and sometimes work even if the application is not fullscreen.
Also triggers have a bug, pretty anooying, if you do trigger a function that have for example "alt+x" combinaison, keyboard will behave like alt is always press.

Regards.

Could you attach a screenshot of the Alt+X trigger that you created?

Regarding the mouse cursor not showing up, you can try to also run the "Lock/Unlock Mouse Cursor to Current Monitor" function, as some games will lock the mouse cursor to the monitor that the game is on.

Regarding the wildcard, the Prevent Window Deactivation function doesn't check to see if the window is full screen, so you may just need to be more specific with the process file names. Note that you can use multiple file names in the same rule, like this:

*game1.exe|*game2.exe|*game3.exe
