Hello!

I use two monitors and usually I have games running on the right monitor. Now I wanted to know if it is possible with display fusion to change the wallpaper profile when I start a game via an exe (or in fact, when Steam starts a game via the exe)

I already tried to play around with tasks but I didnt get any success (I dont have that much knowledge in such things)

Thank you very much!

Nevermind, I found the solution!

For others with the same question:
(my Display Fusion is set to German language, I hope I translate the menus correct)

First you have to create a new Wallpaper Profile with the wallpapers you wish to display when your game or prog is running. Name it, so you can identify it later on.

I go to Settings - Tasks - Here I add a Task
- the event is: process created (or started in english version?)
- below you have to ad the path to the exe file of the program in question
- now you have to add the action on the right side - it should be something like execute function
- from the dropdown menu you select Load wallpaper (or background) profile "name you gave the profile"
and click okay

Now you should have a Task in you task list which changes the wallpaper when you start your prog or game.
Be aware if you want to change it back to a default wallpaper when you exit the game you have to create a new task the same way as above but with the difference that you dont select process created. Instead you take process closed (or shutdown?)

Hope this helps.
Display Fusion is awesome!

I know this is old, but this was exactly the info I needed so wanted to say thanks!!

Now have it setup so that when Free Conference Call or Team viewer are run it switches my wallpaper profile to my "Conference" wallpaper profile which is just black screens.

Then when the applications close it reverts back to my default profile including all my wallpapers.

Much appreciated Rhinozherous ^_^
