I have chrome and hangouts desktop app running on Windows 7.

On the primary monitor the chrome app shows in the taskbar with the correct icon and so does the hangouts app, but on my second monitor the taskbar is showing both apps with the hangouts icon. The hangouts app JUST has the hangouts icon, the chromw app has the hangouts icon with my google user icon overlaid on it

Strange! It seems to be working ok for me. Would you be able to send over your troubleshooting info when both buttons are on the DF taskbar? Here are the steps:
  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Copy to Clipboard" button
  • Paste the text into a text file (please don't paste the text directly into your reply, the formatting gets garbled and makes it difficult to parse)
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks! Do you have the Hangouts or Chrome icons pinned to the taskbar on the second monitor and/or first monitor?
