I use a few custom titlebar icons, but they do not show up in the settings list next to my scripted function names. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi! I'm very interested to learn more about how to implement custom titlebar buttons. I was just about to write and ask if there was a way to change the color of the titlebar buttons. It's very tough to see them on many title bars. Any hints or suggestions you can offer?
