hello there,
is there a way to set a default monitor profile when i use 2 monitors? i use a desktop monitor mainly and sometimes a projector for gaming, and have set different profiles for different usage, but every time i turn on my projector, it recognizes the 2 monitor setup and automatically switches to "projector only". i want it to stay in "pc only" mode, and switch to procector mode manually when i really need it.
is there a solution for that?
Unfortunately there isn't a way around that. Windows is remembering the setup you had when the projector was enabled, and automatically assuming that you want it that way every time the projector gets connected. The best solution here is the one you're probably already using, which is to manually load the DisplayFusion Monitor Profile for the PC Only mode.

that means the last setup windows detected when the projector was still on will automatically be the setup when i turn on the projector next time?
and is it possible to write a script where the detection of the projector triggers a certain setup?
or do you know of a software that does that? it would seem such an obvious feature to me. i'm sure i'm not the only one who uses his pc this way and needs a solution for this problem.
There isn't a way to do this, no. I've added it to our feature request list though, and if we're able to make it work in the future, we'll definitely let you know!
