I have searched and searched the discussion, and nowhere have I found how to move my Desktop Icon profiles to a new PC. I have already done the "Restore Settings" and I assume since they didn't show the Desktop Icon Profiles are not part of this restore (why not?). So is this a registry entry item that I can move? Or are these profiles burried somewhere in the directory structure?

Hello,
The desktop icons should be contained in the backup file. Could you send it over so we could take a look at it? Thanks! 6 days ago

Hello,
Thanks for sending that over, it looks like it's working for me, I can see 2 desktop icon profiles listed. Are you restarting Display Fusion after restoring the backup? Thanks! 6 days ago

Yes I did multiple times. I even upgraded to the latest version. Still get the same results. It will allow me to save off new profiles, so I know it can access the registry but will not allow me to restore them.

Hello,
Are you trying to restore the backup to a different computer, or a different user profile on the same computer? Thanks! 4 days ago

Also not sure if it makes a difference, but I am trying to do this restore from a remote desktop as I am not able to go to my office and directly log-into my PC at this time.

Hello,
If you exit Display Fusion, double click the backup file, choose "Yes" to import, and then launch Display Fusion, does it work? Thanks! 3 days ago
