I have my desktop wallpaper interval set to 600 minutes. This setting has worked for several years without issue.

As of a week or two ago, the desktop wallpaper started changing every 5-10 minutes instead of every 10 hours. I haven't changed my configuration at all, so expect this is a bug in a new version.

I also haven't timed out the specifics of how long it takes the wallpaper to change, but I can try to get that data when I have a chance.

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Hello,

Strange, could you send me a copy of your troubleshooting info? Here are the steps:

  • Open the Settings > Troubleshooting tab
  • Click the "Export Info to File" button
  • Reply with the file attached

Thanks!

Hello,

Thanks for sending that over. If you lower the interval timer to 1 or 2 minutes, does it adjust or does it stay at 10 minutes as well?

Thanks!

I set the interval to 1 minute.

It's now been about 15 minutes and the background has not yet changed.

Hello,

Thanks for sending that over. If you head to this registry path: "Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Binary Fortress Software\DisplayFusion", do you see an entry for "WallpaperSlideshowEnabled", with a "1" beside it?

Also, if you create a new wallpaper profile, does the issue persist?

Thanks!
